Author Adam McLane to Speak: β6 Healthy Habits of Social Media in the Homeβ
Uniontown, OH β April 21, 2014 β Author, speaker and blogger Adam McLane will speak on the β6 Healthy Habits of Social Media in the Homeβ on Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at The Chapelβs Green Campus, 1800 Raber Road NW in Uniontown.
McLane, co-author of A Parentβs Guide to Understanding Social Media, helps parents understand kidsβ attraction to social media, how they use it differently than adults, what teenagers need to understand, and what parents can do right now in their homes.
Social media articles of McLaneβs include topics such as βWhy you should delete Snapchatβ, βShould I be concerned about Ask.fm?β, and βIn social media you are the product.β
McLane is a Partner at The Youth Cartel and Principal at McLane Creative. He and his wife Kristen have been married 16 years and live in the San Diego neighborhood of Rolando with their three children. He studied Youth Ministry at Moody Bible Institute and Youth Ministry Leadership at Huntington University.
