A.J. Hyland, Former CEO of Hyland Software, to Keynote Walsh University 47th Annual Business Club Luncheon, April 12

Walsh University's DeVille School of Business in partnership with the ICF Institute for the Study of the Intelligent Community will present the 47th Annual Business Club Scholarship Luncheon “A Story of Entrepreneurship and the Technology Revolution in Northeast Ohio” on Friday, April 12, from 11:30 am to 1 pm, featuring Keynote Speaker A.J. Hyland, Former CEO of Hyland Software.

Tickets are $25 per person or $800 for event sponsorship (Includes a table of 8 at the luncheon, special recognition in the event program and verbal recognition during the event.) Widely regarded as the poster child of Northeast Ohio’s information technology industry, at just 29, A.J. Hyland became CEO of Hyland Software, one of the largest independent software vendors in the world. Hylandhas since grown to employ 1,500 worldwide, the majority being here in Northeast Ohio. In 2012, A.J. received Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the field of technology. A.J. will share this amazing story of entrepreneurship and how it’s helping to reenergize and revolutionize the field of technology in Northeast Ohio.

The Business and Communication Club is the largest club on the Walsh campus with membership comprised of students interested in pursuing career opportunities in the ever-changing business world.  The Business and Communication Club Annual Scholarship Luncheon is an opportunity to bring the business community to the Walsh campus to share experiences and insights into today’s business world and to raise needed scholarship dollars for deserving business and communication students.
