Aultman Health Foundation To Be Honored At Meals On Wheels Fundraiser In November

MEALS ON WHEELS TO HOLD SECOND ANNUAL “MAIN EVENT” FUNDRAISER

Aultman Health Foundation to be honored at event in November

MASSILLON, Ohio – Meals On Wheel of Stark and Wayne Counties will celebrate “Tackling Hunger for 40 Years,” at the second annual Main Event dinner and auction on Friday, Nov. 8 at Alex D. Krassas Event Center in Canton.

The football-themed event will benefit the agency’s mission of serving this community and providing our neighbors, of all ages, with nutritional support for better health, mobility, and independence.

The event will also pay tribute to Aultman Health Foundation.  “As we celebrate our 40^th anniversary of tackling hunger in this community, we are honored to recognize the support we have received from Aultman Health Foundation and their employees through the years. Together our partnership works to improve the health and well-being of our community and achieve the shared vision of living independently longer,” said Teresa Barry, Chief Executive Officer of Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties.

The agency is excited to have board member Lisa Warburton-Gregory serving as the chairperson for the event.  Lisa has donated thousands of hours of service to a variety of community organizations including the North Canton Medical Foundation Board, Shared Blessings, the North Canton Alumni Association, and the Canton Symphony League.  Recognized for her community achievements by Stark State College in 2011, Warburton-Gregory is President of the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Agency, the past chair of the Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital and recently served on the boards of the Aultman Health Foundation and Aultman Hospital.

The casual “football” attire event will open with a tailgate reception featuring a silent auction followed by a dinner and live auction.
