If you have been driving down North Main Street lately, I am sure that you have noticed that they have scraped many years worth of asphalt off the road. Well, I have a little history lesson for you. If you look close enough, on the intersection of Main and Applegrove, on the recently revealed old brick road, you can see two indentations filled with asphalt about 3 to 4 inches in width! These are the old track grooves for the Trolly Car that used to go from Canton to Greentown ! They dicontinued use in the 40's and ripped the track out a few years after ! North Canton has some great history that most people don't know about. This is one! More to follow!
