The exhibit opens December 8, 2012, with an opening reception from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and runs through January 13, 2013. The Little Art Gallery is open during regular North Canton Public Library hours (Monday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The opening reception is free and open to the public.
Nancy Stewart Matin, current FLAG President said “Since 2004 the Little Art Gallery has paid tribute to the skills and dedication of local artists, starting with Tom Franta. Each artist has made his or her mark on the art community. This year, we pay tribute to some of the art teachers here at the library who have dedicated time and talent to enriching the lives of would-be artists, both young and old and in between. The display of the art of the children in the classroom makes us each wish we could be that child again in our art, fearless and abandoned. So, teachers, we take this opportunity to say thank you, well done, and keep up the good work.”
