Louisville Public Library to Offer FREE Computer Training for Adults Living with Disabilities

LOUISVILLE – On December 10th, 2012 and December 13th, 2012, Louisville Public Library will hold a basic computer and Internet training class specifically designed for adults living with disabilities. The training is free and part of Connect Ohio’s Every Citizen Online (ECO) program.

Training includes:

  • 6-hours of coursework
  • Computer basics (turning it on/off, using a mouse and cursor, opening programs)
  • Introduction to the Internet (opening a browser, searching a topic)
  • Overview of the many benefits of using the Internet (online shopping, accessing benefit information, such as Social Security, BMV, and healthcare, communicating with friends/family through e-mail and social media)

Class information:

  • Session I
    • Monday, December 10th 12:30pm – 3:30pm
    • Session II
      • Thursday, December 13th 12:30pm – 3:30pm
      • Location: Louisville Public Library, 700 Lincoln Avenue, Louisville
