
Friends of Stark Parks will host its second annual Prohibition Era βSpeakeasyβ Casino Night on Sat., March 9 from 6-10 p.m. at Massillonβs historic Five Oaks Mansion at 210 Fourth St. NE. Β Tickets are $75 per couple or $50 per person. Included are hors dβoeuvres, fine wines and beer, Prohibition jazz, and βfun moneyβ for a night of gambling, raffles, and door prizes! Massillon Mayor Kathy Catazaro-Perry will be on hand to welcome guests to Massillonβs historic Womanβs Club. Guests will recognize many of the eveningβs βcelebrity dealers,β including Sheriff George Maier; Dave Waikem, owner of Waikem Auto Family; Jill Malusky, Massillon Museum educator; and Bob Sanderson, President of the Massillon Area Chamber of Commerce.

Proceeds benefit Friends of Stark Parks, a non-profit 501C3 volunteer organization dedicated to the development and use of Stark County parks, trails, programs, events, and facilities including the Hoover Trail in North Canton, the Middle Branch Trail in Plain Township and Canton, and a future trail to be built on the campuses of Kent State Stark Campus and Stark State.
