MASSILLON, OH – Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties today announced the appointment of Christopher Remark, Attorney Alex J. McCallion, and Eveline Maciag to their Board of Trustees.

For 40 years, Meals on Wheels has provided over 11 million meals to nutritionally at-risk and homebound neighbors in Stark and Wayne counties.Β  β€œWe feel fortunate at Meals on Wheels for having the best business and community leaders to lead and guide our agency,” said Teresa Barry, CEO of Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties.Β  β€œThis board of trustees is focused on using their skills and expertise to help guide us forward for the next 40 years.”

Christopher Remark is the Chief Operating Officer at Aultman Hospital and Vice Chairperson on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Stark County. Β Mr. Remark also services as United Way’s Chair of Strategic Planning Oversight Committee. A graduate of Walsh University, he was also one of the 2008 winners of the Twenty Under 40! Award presented by YStark!

Attorney Alex J. McCallion is with the law firm of Day Ketterer in Canton.Β  A 2010 graduate from College of William & Mary School of Law, Mr. McCallion is a member of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce YStark! Young Professional Group.

Eveline Maciag has been appointed as an Ad Hoc member of the board.Β  Ms. Maciag is employed by The Timken Company as a Human Resource Analyst and received her Master of Business Administration degree from Walsh University in 2012.

Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties is a non-profit agency that provides nutritional support to homebound individuals of all ages. Services include delivery of hot meals, breakfast meals, sack suppers, frozen meals, chopped meals, pureed meals and liquid supplements (pending physician referral), Monday through Friday. The agency has 18 sites throughout Stark and Wayne Counties and depends on volunteers to fulfill its mission.
