Nathaniel Hoobler of Boy Scout Troop 1 sponsored by Zion United Church of Christ has earned his Eagle Scout honor. For his service project, Nathaniel built bookshelves and collected gently used children’s books for the North Canton YMCA Daycare Center. He also performed some landscaping for a vegetable garden and bench at the center. He has earned 21 merit badges, fifth-year Pipestone, fourth-year Good Camper, third-year Polar Bear, and is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow. Nathaniel is a junior at North Canton Hoover High School and the son of Dan and Linda Hoobler.
