PLAIN TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE SCOTT HAWS SPONSORS SCHOLARSHIP FOR GLENOAK HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR
Plain Township Trustee Scott Haws is offering for a fourth year a $750 Scholarship to a graduating GlenOak High School Senior that will be awarded at the 2013 Annual GlenOak Senior Awards Night. Haws noted that this is part of his ongoing commitment to supporting future community leadership development while again helping this year a GlenOak graduate pursue their life ambition and dreams.

The scholarship is open to all graduating GlenOak High School Seniors, with applications available through the GlenOak High School Counselors offices and Plain Local Schools Foundation. The award will be given to a deserving GlenOak High School senior entering college and best exemplifying the following criteria.

Criteria for Selection:
- 3.0 GPA or better in college prep
- Demonstrated excellence in academics and in the areas of athletics, leadership, and community service.
- Acceptance at an accredited college or university.
- Two letters of recommendation (One within the school district and one outside of the school district)
Scholarship applications are currently available through the GlenOak High School Counselors offices and Plain Local Schools Foundation. All completed applications are due by April 5, 2013.
