Seco Machine Awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification

North Canton-based Seco Machine, a national industry leader in contract machining and manufacturer of molded urethane components, has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification.

ISO 9001:2008 defines the requirements for establishing, implementing and maintaining a documented quality management system (QMS). It recognizes companies that have systems in place to meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

ISO certification is a reflection of Seco Machine’s longstanding commitment to superior industrial machining and operational excellence, and its leadership and innovation in comprehensive machining, primarily through its precision turning and milling capabilities.

"Many of our customers adhere to very rigorous product tolerances,” said Steve Seccombe, general manager of Seco Machine. "We are thrilled to achieve an ISO 9001 certification because it's the best way to assure our customers that Seco Machine has implemented a quality management system designed to manufacture products to customer expectations."

Established in 1985, Seco Machine is an industry leader in comprehensive contract manufacturing. The company’s machining capabilities include mold making, turning, milling and grinding. Ancillary services include warehousing, production sawing, light assembly, heat treatments, coatings and specialty packaging. Seco also offers high production urethane pour capabilities.
