Senior Citizen Winner of Mohler True Value Renovation Contest
Ida McCarthy of North Canton is the winner of a contest sponsored by Mohler True Value Home Center. The company offered to help a senior citizen to spruce up their home. Ida's friends knew that her home could use some help and that living on a fixed income was not enough to pay for the needed improvements. So they entered her name in the contest. When Ida got the call that she was the winner, she thought at first it was a crank call. But after several minutes of convincing, she finally realized it was for real. "I couldn't believe it," said Ida. "I've never won anything in my life!"
After looking over the house, Mohler's agreed that the most pressing project was painting. Sarah Schilling, a Mohler employee, did the painting. A bedroom, bathroom, hallway and kitchen were painted a beautiful shade of blue gray.

Ida is pleased with the finished product and thrilled to have a new look in her home. "I am so grateful that Mohler's cares about helping senior citizens. I could never have had this work done on my own," Ida added.
