The Stark County Terriers Baseball Club was founded by local a businessman and a group of baseball enthusiasts and joined the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League in 1999. During our 13-year existence, the Terriers’ roster has been represented by College players from 42 states, Canada, and 64 Colleges and Universities. Since 1999, we have had 34 players drafted by Major League Baseball and 10 additional players sign contracts with Independent League baseball teams.
Today the organization boasts the Stark County Terriers made up of Stark County’s local Collegiate players, as well as 18u and 16u Stark County Terriers baseball teams which are comprised of top local high school baseball players. The Teams play their games at Walsh University in North Canton. The Stark County Terriers organization is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Much of our revenue to support these programs for our local student athletes comes from our weekly Bingo Operations….PLEASE COME OUT AND JOIN US FOR A LOT OF FUN AND TO HELP OUR LOCAL STUDENT ATHLETES!!!
