Type O Blood Needed After Nationwide Inventory Drops

All eligible blood donors, especially blood type O, are strongly encouraged to give blood, as type O blood inventories have dropped to critically low levels nationwide. Type O-negative blood is especially important because it can be transfused to patients of any blood type.

Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and feel healthy and well. Please consider donating at an Aultman Blood Center donor rooms:   

  • Aultman Hospital Donor Room

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
