The Walsh University ICF Institute will present the visionary Founder and DirectorΒ of TED-Ed,Β Logan Smalley, onΒ Tuesday, February 12,Β from 10 to 11:15 am, in the Walsh University Barrette Business and Community Center.Β Logan Smalley was one of the featured presenters at the Walsh University ICF Inaugural Global Symposium in October.

Through the support of theΒ Herbert W Hoover Foundation, Logan will be working with Walsh University and the Stark Educational Service Center in a 2013-2014 county-wide project that will be piloted this spring.

The Intelligent Community ForumΒ (ICF) is a nonprofit think tank that focuses in job creation and economic development in the broadband economy, for the local economy, both large and small, in the developing and developed economies of the world.
The Walsh University Institute for the study of the Intelligent CommunityΒ was created as a resource for local and regional communities interested in this movement to connect with over 114 international partner communities, a venue for thought leaders from around the world to share ideas and solutions, and as an arena to explore new models for the preparation of educators for the creative economy.
Walsh University is an independent, co-educational Catholic liberal arts and sciences institution that promotes academic excellence and diversity and provides close faculty-student interaction. It is dedicated to teaching its nearly 3,000 students to become leaders in service to others through a values-based education with an international perspective in the Judeo-Christian tradition.
