Walsh University Welcomes Alumni with Homecoming Activities, Oct. 19-21

Walsh University alumni, faculty, staff and students will celebrate Homecoming and Fall Family Weekend 2012 with special activities, October 19-21. Homecoming 2012 activities include:

Friday, October 19

Wall of Fame Dinner – Ticket Required
Barrette Business & Community Center 6 pm Reception, 7 pm Dinner

New members will be inducted into the Walsh University Wall of Fame, which recognizes and honors Alumni who have exhibited excellence in the Varsity Athletic Programs at Walsh University. Tickets are $25 for adults; $9 for Children 12 and under. For tickets, call 330-490-7035.

Fall Family Festival at Hoover Park – Registration Required
3 to 6 PM Open for alumni, current students and families, faculty and staff only.

Activities are included in registration fee; food is available for purchase (Rain Location: Cecchini Center)

Outstanding Alumni Lunch – Ticket Required
Please join us at our 2012 Walsh University Alumni Awards Lunch honoring Walsh University Outstanding Alumni. Lunch served at 12:30 pm in the Barrette Business & Community Center.
Cost: $15 per person. Reservations are required by calling Dan Gravo, Director of Alumni Relations at 330.244-4752.

This year’s honorees will include Dr. Peter Rogers ’64, Donald Detore ’81 and Beverly Jordan ‘95 as recipients of the 2012 Outstanding Alumni Award.  In addition, Brother Ernest Paquet, FIC, will be honored as the recipient of Walsh’s Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award and Dr. Richard Reichert ’78 will be named the recipient of Walsh’s Alumni Distinguished Service Award.
