Antonio Velardo--who exactly is he?

Antonio Velardo is an extremely successful real estate tycoon, but just like as everyone has his or her own story to tell, so does Antonio. While some multi-millionaires were born into luxury, most had to work extremely hard to achieve their success, and the beginning of their stories are usually not so “lavish.” Velardo’s story is no different; he is a man that comes from a modest background and was able to find success in the real estate market after going through many trials and tribulations.

Antonio was born in Naples, Italy in 1977. After seeing many of his friends begin to travel after high school, he decided that not only did he want to travel as well, but at the same time he also realized that he had a passion for flying. At the tender age of 19, he took the leap of faith and moved all the way to Florida, USA, where he would pursue his FAA license with a goal of becoming a commercial pilot. He began studying in Daytona Beach at the Phoenix Aviation School where he would later complete his course and receive his FAA multi-engine instrumental commercial license. Once he got his pilot’s license, he moved back to Europe so that he could convert his new license to JAA at Capua Aeroschool. This allowed him to be closer to home and his family.

Quite suddenly, he realized that his pilot’s salary was not enough to satisfy his lifestyle, ambitions, and love for some of the finer things in life. He took some time to seriously assess his life plans, and it was then that he decided that although he loved flying, it would limit his options and not give him the chance to truly “spread his wings and fly”! For the next two years he travelled the world, lived in many different countries and experienced different cultures.

Now, a few years after he received his pilot’s license, a more mature Antonio Velardo was ready to go back to school and go for the gold. He enrolled in Loughborough University, which is one of the top universities in the United Kingdom. He graduated from Loughborough with top honors and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Once he had a degree, he was able to find work in Spain and Cape Verde in real estate sales. He quickly rose to the top of the ranks within his organization as a top Sales Advisor, and shortly after, decided to found his own real estate investment firm. In a short time, he became a very successful real estate investor and developer in Italy and North Africa. His new-found success allowed him to open up various offices throughout Europe, which increased his presence and created even more opportunity.

In 2009, using the capital that he was able to accumulate through his previous real estate deals, he founded a capital venture firm in Tunis with special interest in the real estate market in the USA, where his company buys distressed assets from banks and turns them into positive cash flow investments. Fast forward to 2014: Antonio Velardo is more successful than ever before, with flourishing developments and housing spanning across the globe from Italy to the USA, to Spain and Tunisia. The focus now is expanding operations into the Caribbean areas and South America.
