Assailants Beat Man with Baseball Bats after Destroying His Mom's Windshield
The beating took place in the early morning of Aug. 31 in the 800 block of Valley Boulevard

A group of assailants beat a North Canton man with baseball bats after they destroyed the windshield of his mom's car.
The man's mother had called police about 3:45 a.m. Aug. 31 after seeing several people using baseball bats to smash the windshield of her car in the 800 block of Valley Boulevard.
The suspects fled when police arrived, according to a report from the .

But, the woman's 19-year-old son ran after the suspects and was assaulted with baseball bats and other weapons.
North Canton police said the man was taken by North Canton medics to Aultman Hospital and treated for injuries to his face and head as well as cuts on his body. He was released from the hospital later that day.
