North Canton Middle School Offers Adaptive Art

For the first time ever (okay, well at least the three years I've been at NCMS) we are offering an Adaptive Art course.

I have been adapting lesson plans and materials in ways that all students will be able to express their creativity and create meaningful pieces of art.

We created "Love Bugs" in February as recognition of the love we have for friends and family, read our favorite book Where the Wild Things Are and used our imagination to create our own "wild things", and learned about Aboriginal Art from the continent of Australia and used it as a starting point for our own stippled warm & cool color paintings.
