'Breaking Badminton' Doubles Tourney to Raise Funds for Canton Advertising Federation Dec. 5
Badminton tournament at Green Racquet Club in Uniontown to assist programs for students interested in the advertising field
Who’s the bad-mintonest of them all? That’s what the Canton Advertising Federation aims to find out on Friday, Dec. 5 at “Breaking Badminton,” a doubles badminton tournament and fundraiser at Green Racquet Club. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
“Breaking Badminton” will raise money for the Canton Advertising Federation and its programs that benefit advertising students. Each year the advertising federation sponsors educational seminars, scholarships and creative awards for students, and proceeds from the tournament will help support the club’s efforts to encourage student participation in advertising and related fields.
Entry fee is $30 per person. There will be cash prizes and a 50/50 drawing, and players and spectators can enjoy food and a cash bar during the event.

The Green Racquet Club is located at 3937 Glen Eagles Blvd. in Uniontown.
