Business Expo at Kent State Stark Set for Feb. 26
Annual networking event will shine the spotlight on 100 area businesses
An event-record 100 businesses from Stark County and the surrounding area will be featured at the annual Business Expo, Thursday, Feb. 26 at the Kent State University at Stark Conference Center. The event is sponsored by the Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce.
The expo, which will run from 4 to 8 p.m., will also feature 20 area restaurants competing in the Taste of Jackson. Anyone attending the expo will be able to vote for their favorite restaurant, and the one receiving the most votes will be honored with the Purple Fork Award. This is the third year for the Taste of Jackson, and Baja Pizzafish, winner of the Purple Fork Award the first two years, will return to defend their title.
Admission to the expo is $5 plus a business card, or free with a pass provided by any expo exhibitor. A list of exhibitors along with a map of the venue at Kent State Stark is available online at http://www.jbcc.org/events/2015-business-expo/.
