Carl David Ceder & Heath Deweiler sharing some concerns
Carl Ceder & Heath Detweiler are wondering about holidays and has a few things to say about them.

Carl Ceder and Heath Detweiler wondering about the folly of the holidays, or at least a few concerns with them. Ok, maybe there is no folly in the holidays. I like holidays, I like time with family--and who doesn’t like holidays from work, right? I am not so sure about this Santa Claus thing though. I really don’t know where this idea originated or what the purpose is. However, it seems a little dishonest to me that we tell kids this guy brings them gifts, well, only if they are good of coarse. Why deceive such young kids like this? Anyhow, aside form that I know people love the holidays. We have Thanksgiving which I think is a great time of year that we all get together and it is basically a national “Let’s remember how much we have to be grateful” day.
Meanwhile, in Ohio, unlike in Louisiana or Texas or those southern states we have already had some bad weather days. We had a freezing rain the one day that had semis jack knifed all over Interstate 70 and many counties under Level 3 driving conditions (meaning you should not be on the roads unless it is an emergency). We had that one really bad snow storm already that left roads almost as bad as the subsequent ice storm. This is what often comes to mind when I like of holidays. Being from the O-H this is why I decided to get my Jeep Grand Cherokee—man, that thing can get around in some bad weather. I love this thing. It has all kinds of fancy 4 wheel drive settings, but the bottom-line is that it is 4 WD and it is getting me where I need to go even when bad weather is here. Stay safe and have a great weekend! ~ Carl David Ceder & Heath Detweiler signing off.
