The Ananda Center for the Arts has scheduled chair yoga classes with Bob Goerke on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
Goerke will offer a Chair Yoga class on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Chair Yoga is considered gentler form of yoga and uses a chair for additional support. Most of the exercises are done while sitting on, leaning on or holding onto a chair. This makes it a great way to practice yoga for people of all ages and those with limited mobility.
The fee, $10 per class ($8 for Ananda Center members), is the same for each of the offerings. It may be paid by cash or check just before each session. Students should arrive at The Ananda Center for the Arts about 15 minutes before each class to sign in.
