Court Appearance for Streaker Pushed Back
Christopher S. McCormick, who'se accused of crashing into a federal building then streaking, was slated to make an initial appearance in court today. According to court records, he's still being treated at a mental health facility.
The arraignment hearing for a man who police say crashed into a federal building before taking off his clothes and running around was postponed from today until Friday.
Christopher S. McCormick, 26, of North Canton, still is being treated at Heartland Behavior Healthcare, according to Stark County court records. His new arraignment hearing date is 9 a.m. Friday. (It already had been changed from Monday to today.)
McCormick drove a Dodge Stratus into the southwest corner of the Ralph Regula Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse at 301 McKinley Ave. SW about 3 a.m. Saturday, according to NewsNet5.com. After crashing into the building, McCormick took off his clothes and ran around naked, the news station reported.

He faces a fourth-degree felony vandalism charge in relation to the crash.
McCormick's court docket also shows two fifth-degree felony charges of harrassment by an inmate.
