    Keith:
Keith McMahon studied Biology before turning to Art, an experience that strongly influences his art making. He received a B.A. in Art from Mount Union College and an M.F.A. in Sculpture from Kent State University. His work has been exhibited internationally and is in public and private collections from Cape Cod, Massachusetts to Irvine, California.

He has been a teacher for many years, having taught metalsmithing, sculpture, drawing, design, art appreciation, and art history. He is currently teaching at Ashland University. He lives with his family on a small farm near Homeworth, Ohio where his relationship to nature constantly informs his work.

    Priscilla:
Priscilla teaches art and art education at Ashland University. She was born in Maine and grew up hiking and spending time outdoors. These experiences plus an interest in the human form and the human experience are part of the work she makes. She studied art at Kent State University (M.F.A.), University of Arkansas (M.Ed.) and Heidelberg College (B.A.). Working primarily in drawing and painting, she began creating three-dimensional work in the mid 1990s. Priscilla has resided in Alliance, Ohio since 1990, making art and teaching art to all ages.

    About our work:
"In our work, memory, time and a relationship to land and place combine with the primary essences of our materials to create meaning. These concerns have been present in our individual thoughts about art making for some time. But an opportunity to create a work in Israel led us to merge our unique perspectives into a single piece where we synergized a whole that was greater than the sum of its individual artists. What we gained from sharing the experience of creating collaboratively remained as we returned to our personal work. It also encouraged us to continue to take a shared path as we collaborate on successive works and brought new ideas to our individual work."

Keith and Priscilla and three of their friends also make music together in the group Rock Salt and Nails
