Best Practices in Retaining Talent

The Corporate University, Kent State University at Stark is offering a panel discussion to address best practices in the workplace. The programΒ takes placeΒ at The University Center, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.


How does your talent garden grow? Every organization seeks the best talent to maintain and grow their business. Excellent talent is in demand, so it is important to retain your most talented employees. Retaining talent is about keeping your current employees but it is also about helping them grow. Attend this program to learn how local organizations identify and develop their top performers.


Panelists include Nicolette Kynkor, organizational development specialist at FedEx Custom Critical; Bob Sturm, manager of talent development at The Babcock and Wilcox Company; and Dean Zimmerman, human resources representative at Hendrickson International Trailer and Suspension Systems. Moderating the panel discussion will be Kristin Hannon, recertification chair at the Stark County Human Resource Association.
