Fairways to Fight Hunger

Tee off against hunger by registering for the Fairways to Fight Hunger Golf Outing May 4 presented by CSE Federal Credit Union and benefiting Stark County Hunger Task Force (SCHTF).


The event with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on the challenging, picturesque hills course at Tam O’ Shanter Golf features an 18-hole scramble, beverages, hotdog at the turn, Old Carolina barbecue dinner, big prize hole-in-one contests and other skills competitions for $65 a golfer or $250 a foursome.


Register and pay online at www.starkhunger.org or by downloading and returning a form from the Website; by phoning 330.455.6667; by visiting the SCHTF offices at 408 9th St. SW, Canton, or by picking up a form at the golf course at 5055 Hills and Dales Rd. NW, Canton and returning it to Stark County Hunger Task Force.

Players can register as individuals, twosomes, threesomes or foursome. Smaller groups will be paired in foursomes. Registration deadline is April 22.


A auction during dinner features items including a package of four, any one-day clubhouse tickets to the AT&T National, June 24 -30 at Congressional Country Club near Washington, D.C. A limited number of non-golfers tickets to the dinner and auction are available for $25.

Register today and join the battle against hunger. With every dollar raised, the Stark County Hunger Task Force provides seven pounds of groceries to the hungry through a network of more than 30 pantries.
