Fit Family 5K Race and Kids Fun Run

FIT FAMILY 5K RACE DETAILS

3rd Annual Fit Family 5K run is a fast road race part of the Subway Race Challenge Series in the beautiful surrounding Walsh community. The race and family activity promotes health and wellness to community members and children while supporting educational scholarships for the Walsh University Physical Therapy Students.

RACE LOCATION

Packet pick-up at 2020 East Maple Street NW; North Canton Ohio 44720

Race course starts on the Walsh University Campus and beautiful surrounding neighborhoods

PACKET PICK-UP

Pre-registered runners may pick up their packets between 3:00pm and 7:00pm Friday, September 13th. Same day packet pick up is available starting at 7:00am September 14th.

5K adult race = $20,

5K student rate = $15 (with ID)

Kids fun run = $6

SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS:

Same day race registrations start at 7:00am on Saturday, September 14^th 5K race (all participants) = $25, Kids fun run = $6 (shirts not guaranteed)

5K RACE SHIRTS and AWARDS

 All pre-registered runners will receive a Walsh Fit Family 5K Race t-shirt. The top 3 overall male and female finishers will be given GREAT awards. The top 3 finishers in each age group will receive an award

5K AGE GROUPS:

12 & under,  13-15,  16-19,  20-24,  25-29,  30-34,  35-39,  40-44,  45-49,  50-54,  55-59,  60-64, 65-69, 70 and over

KIDS FUN RUN

Stretching/Activities starts at 8:15 am on the Walsh University Race Track. Race will start at 8:20am

Kids of all ages are welcome to participate in a 0.5 mile (two track laps). Parents are welcome to accompany their children. Introduce this is great way to be healthy and fit to our younger generation.

Each finisher will receive an award.

Adults that wish to participate in the 5K may sign up for free child care for your youngster during the adult 5K race.

We will have kid activities, face painting, and games during the adult race (inside the David Center).

 All pre-registered runners get a tee-shirt.
