North Canton Playhouse auditions

The North Canton Playhouse is holding auditions for:

            "Where's My Tony?"  A Musical Revue
                                                          Directed by Tara Shooks


              Highlighting songs from popular musicals that  have taken home “Best Choreography” or “Best Costume Design” but have failed to take home the award for “Best Musical” or “Best Original Score”.  Many are surprised that these shows were not awarded for the brilliant music. With plenty of song and dance, this show promises to be energetic and fun!!!  For both cast members and audiences!!

When: May 12, 2012
Where: North Canton Playhouse Youth Theatre-1210 N Main Street, North Canton
Time: 12:30pm

Please prepare a musical theatre song in any style

There will also be a short dance audition. Dress appropriately

For those auditioning for non-singing roles: You will be auditioning first. Auditions for speaking roles will consist of a short improv activity and possible reading from the script.

Please bring a list of conflicts between June 2nd and August 4th-rehearsals are minimal and very flexible

Tentative rehearsals will be Saturdays from 11am-2pm and Sundays from 6pm-9:30pm
Tech week will be Sunday, July 22nd, 11am-5pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (July 23, 24 and 26) at 6:30pm
Performances are Friday, July 27-Sunday, August 4th
Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30pm
Sunday show is at 2:30pm
