Christopher Kenney, Director of Education at the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum and author of the book, will be our featured speaker at this meeting featuring never before seen photographs of the McKinley Monument under construction, drawn from the Museum’s archival collection. He will discuss the building process from beginning to end, and will explain the symbolism of the architectural details of this magnificent tribute to the assassinated President. The lecture also includes two rare film clips of the President’s funeral train.
