Journey to the Inner Soul

Antonio Velardo shares his experience with meditation

It was horrible; says a friend of mine Antonio Velardo, we were talking about the self-hypnosis, and meditation. I was also eager to hear from him about his experiences as we had met after several months. It was the end of December, rainy day and lots of storms. He told me that last night he experienced something different, something out of this world, and that was something I really wanted to hear.

Antonio Velardo was practicing hypnosis for the last three months. It is the process of self-control, concentration and a lot of faith. I saw you last night! Where? I asked him surprisingly. After hypnotizing myself successfully, I entered a room full of lights it was like a server room, lights everywhere, projectors, oscilloscopes and technology that I never saw. You and I were both in that room, he said, and then you vanished, he continued. Then? I asked him. Carl David Ceder, it was something more than real, I was feeling every moment. Yes, that was my inner soul, my inner soul was taking me to another world, the real world.

I was listening to him quietly and curiously. What are you talking about? Are you kidding me? Is that kind of joke you are telling me? Oh come on, I know you are never going believe me, I was shouting frequently in that room Carl David Ceder where you are?

Now I was also curious to know more about this phenomenon or whatever it was, I was confused. My brother, please tell me how you do this? You just have to calm down and control your breaths. After a while, it will attach you to the inner soul, yes you will experience this; he smiled and offered me a coffee. What’s next? Am I supposed to sit in that room and observe the things? No you just have to concentrate on every moment you feel.

A body with a glowing inner, which was the thing I wanted now. However, there is difference between meditation and hypnosis, he replied; Hypnosis is something that we do for our self-improvement, self-control and self-modification, while the meditation is for our self-peace and relaxation. Really, hypnosis can modify our body? I asked him with some sort of curiosity. Yes, it can, you just have to imagine your DNA and here you go you can modify it.

The science of hypnosis is very old and effective. In Stone Age peoples were supposed to be hypnotized for their treatments. You just have to stay quiet to master this art .Can we hypnotize other people? I asked him? Yes but for the sake of goodness, you cannot impose something negative to their believe; something they do not want. The conversation became fuzzy and then we switched off the lights and left the room for dinner, as there was no conversation about this topic had been done ever. However, I was still left wondering, so I did some research and found the following on a very reputable site:

“Hypnotism and Occultism—Is There a Link?

Is the claim that hypnotism is linked to the occult just a figment of someone’s imagination? Fantasy tales in movies and novels may have nurtured the idea, but the connection between hypnotism and spiritism has a real basis. Regarding hypnotism, the Encyclopedia ofOccultism and Parapsychology explains: “Its history is inextricably interwoven with occultism.” Religious trances, which have been a part of sorcery and magic throughout history, are commonly viewed as a form of hypnosis. Also, the priests in ancient Egypt and Greece induced a type of hypnotic state when trying to cure illnesses in the name of their false gods.

The above-quoted encyclopedia notes: “Even today much hypnotic phenomena is classed as ‘Spiritualist.’” While it is difficult to determine to what extent various forms of hypnotism may have to do with the occult, the fact is that God clearly condemns all forms of spiritism. (Deuteronomy 18:9-12; Revelation 21:8) Thus, Christians cannot ignore the clearly unscriptural aspects of hypnotism.”

The above quote was taken from this site and it left me with much deeper things to consider!
