THE MAINT EVENT 2015: "STOMP OUT HUNGER"
Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties 4th Annual Main Event Fundraiser!

MASSILLON, OH - Tickets are on sale now for the Main Event fundraiser! This year’s wine-casual event will be held on November 13th, 2015 at the Alex D. Krassas Center in Canton, and it consists of a silent auction, dinner, and live auction.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the agency at 330-832-7220, or by visiting Meals on Wheels’ auction website at www.biddingforgood.com/MOWMainEvent. The online website also provides bidders with the ability to register credit cards and preview silent and live auction items.
“We want everyone who comes to have a good time, and, most importantly, we want to give every attendee the chance to help Meals on Wheels,” said Main Event Chair, J. Patrick Corcoran. “Everyone will have the opportunity to leave with an item!”

Meals on Wheels is thrilled to offer new and unique auction items this year. A Fiesta for Twenty at Pancho’s Southwestern Grille, an Evening with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and a Trip to Napa Valley are just a few of the extraordinary items available at the Main Event.
Not only is the Main Event expected to be a lot of fun, but everyone will be there to benefit a very worth-while cause. Proceeds from the event will go towards the agency’s mission of serving its community and providing its hungry neighbors with nutritional support for better health, mobility, and independence.

The Main Event will also recognize its Honorees: PPi Graphics, United Grinding, and Progressive Auto Group. Volunteer Honorees, Don and Jean Joliat, will be awarded as well.
“Our auction isn’t like other area auctions. This is a casual event where we celebrate and thank our community,” said Means on Wheels’ CEO, Ted Watko. “This is our primary fundraiser.”
