Fundraiser for non-profit agency providing programs for older adults
Mark your calendars for September 10th for Mature Services 11th Annual “The Melting Pot ~ A Taste of Many Nations.”
“The Melting Pot ~ A Taste of Many Nations” features an ethnic food tasting from local restaurants like Aladdin’s Eatery in Fairlawn and TLC Catering, a silent auction and a raffle.
This event is our only fundraiser of the year and provides crucial funds to offer non-profit Mature Services’ high-quality programs and services to empower the economic, social, physical and mental well-being of adults as they age.

Join us for a night of food, fun, fundraising, beginning at 5:30 pm, at the St. George Family Center located at 3204 Ridgewood Rd. in Akron.

The population of older adults is quickly growing, and it’s important that we have services and programs to assist this population. According to a report from the Census Bureau in 2014, “20% of the U.S. population will be age 65 or over by the year 2030.” Please help us help make a difference in the lives of older individuals in 40 counties throughout Ohio.
