Mature Services' Mini-Job Fair for Older Job Seekers

Are you 55 or older and looking for a job?  If so, you should strongly consider attending Mature Services’ Mini-Job Fair on January 29th at the First Congregational Church in Akron, located at 292 E. Market St., beginning at 2:30 pm.  The Mini-Job Fair is a great place for mature workers and employers seeking hardworking and experienced older workers to meet and network about potential employment.

Mature Services’ Mini-Job Fair has a different approach than standard job fairs.  First, employers give a short presentation discussing what jobs they are trying to fill, what kind of employee they’re seeking and company mission and history.  After each employer presents, a short Q & A session is held, making for a very interactive event.  Once all the employers are done presenting, job seeking attendees have the chance to actively network and have face-to-face communication with the present employers.
