North Canton Chamber Endorses Issue 29 Passage

The has endorsed passage of Issue 29, the half-percent piggyback sales tax.

“The Chamber knows our business members and our community need to feel and be safe and the small price, paid by local consumers and out-of-town visitors, will ensure efficient and safe operation of the Stark County Jail as well as continue the excellent work of our state-recognized county judicial system,” said Chamber President Doug Lane following the vote of the Chamber board.

The North Canton Chamber joins the Alliance, Canton, Jackson-Belden and Massillon Chambers and the North Canton City Council and North Canton City Schools Board of Education in endorsing passage of the issue.
