North Canton Mosquito Spraying Beginning June 17

The four-day spray program covers each quadrant of the city.

The City of North CantonΒ will soon beΒ hard at work reducing the mosquito population in neighborhoods across the area.

According to the Mayor's Office, mosquito spraying takes four days to cover each quadrant of the city and typically occurs twice per summer.Β 

The spray dates, times and locations are as follows:Β 

  • Monday, June 17 --Β All areas in the northeast section will be sprayed fromΒ 7:30 p.m.Β to 1 a.m.
  • Tuesday, June 18 --Β All areas in the southeast section will be sprayed from 7:30 p.m.Β to 1 a.m.
  • Wednesday, June 19 --Β All areas in the northwest section will be sprayed fromΒ 7:30 p.m.Β to 1 a.m.
  • Thursday, June 20 --Β All areas in the southwest section will be sprayed from 7:30 p.m.Β to 1 a.m.
People with respiratory problems should take appropriate action. Beekeepers should take the necessary precautions to protect their hives, according to northcantonohio.com.
