While you are at the North Canton Main Street Festival, come by the new museum of the North Canton Heritage Society, on Ream Ave., just across from the rear entrance of the North Canton Library. The Society recently moved to the former Portage Street School from its former location at the Charlotte St. building. The new museum was remodeled and is handicapped accessible. A ribbon cutting will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 17. Hours for the open house are 1 to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The Society will have its usual booth on Main St. as well.
