Provost Academy Ohio Hosts Free Family Fun Day, September 29th

Families
with middle and high school students are invited to a free Family Fun Day on
September 29 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. (rain or shine). The event will take
place at the Meyers Lake YMCA, which is located at 1333
North Park Avenue NW in Canton. Participants will enjoy a day filled
with family-friendly activities including games, music, giveaways and more.  Ohio’s newest online middle and high school,
Provost Academy Ohio, is hosting the event.

“Provost
Academy Ohio offers a unique educational environment comprised of certified
teachers, caring staff and enriching academic classes," said Executive
Director Naim Sanders, a longtime Ohio educator and administrator.  "We want to invite families to join us
at this incredible event to find out more about our program and our unique
offerings.”

Families
interested in finding out more information Provost Academy will have an
opportunity to speak directly to the executive director, advisors and
teachers.  Unlike other online learning
programs, Provost Academy Ohio offers a robust, state-of-the-art curriculum
with a strong base in math, science and technology, designed to be engaging,
fun and targeted to multiple learning styles. 
All courses can be adapted to fit a student’s individual needs with
academic offerings customized for the individual student.

“This
virtual learning environment reduces various social factors that can stifle a
student’s academic success and true learning potential,” added Sanders. “Parents
and students can easily monitor learning progress, assignments, and grades at a
glance on their own personal home page.”
