ROCKTOBERFEST: Putting the FUN in FUNdraiser
It is Rocktoberfest time again - help us raise money and awareness for three amazing recipients.
Yea, yea - that is a terrible headline. But seriously, Rocktoberfest is possibly one of the most fun events that you HAVE to attend this year. Fall is in the air and the leaves are turning, imagine yourself at picturesque Hoover Park on the Walsh University campus. Insert three well-deserving recipients, two awesomely delicious food trucks (Zydeco Bistro and Orange Trük), ice cream from Milk & Honey, an adult beverage, and music from Yankee Bravo.
...but wait, there's more...you ARE at a fundraiser, right? Golf packages, a week's stay ANYWHERE in the continental U.S. (you read that right), a Canton Food Tour package, Canton Charge ticket packages; plus myriad baskets filled with children's items, beauty products, books, photography gift certificates, restaurant gift cards, and on and on...OH - and I haven't even mentioned our popular Stock the Bar raffle! Purchase tickets to be entered into a drawing to win a table filled with beer, wine, mixers, and pretty much anything you need to stock your basement bar (or just to throw a good party).
So who are we raising money for anyway?
There are three amazing ROCKTOBERFEST recipients this year. Friends of the Pound, Hammer & Nails and North Canton resident, Halle Land. Each of whom embodies the spirit and mission of The Foundation for Community Betterment.
So there is the short of it - a fun event benefiting fantastic people.
The Foundation for Community Betterment is a network of generous individuals who believe a simple gesture that touches just one life can positively impact an entire community. Our hope is that our simple actions can create a ripple effect of goodness through the actions of the recipients we support.
