"Save Second Base" with Tilted Kilt of Canton

WHAT: Tilted Kilt of Canton will be hosting a Beast Cancer Awareness fundraiser in light of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Sunday, October 26, 2014, following the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Nearly 30 Kilt Girls will be participating in the walk, as the team Kilt Girls Care, raising funds for the organization. Afterwards, the community can celebrate a job well done at the pub while continuing to raise funds for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Tilted Kilt will be hosting a dine-to-donate event and raffle with top of the line prizes such as concert tickets, sporting event tickets, and drink specials. Community members are welcome to bring in the “Save Second Base” flyer and dine at the pub with 10 percent of their order benefiting the charity. In addition, Tilted Kilt “Save Second Base” t-shirts and bracelets will be on sale in which 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Not to mention, guests who stop by the pub wearing a “Save Second Base” bracelet will receive free dessert! Finally, a percentage of all drink specials throughout the night will benefit the charity as well. Nearly $1,000 has been raised during the first week of October as the pub sets a goal to raise $5,000 by the month’s end. Come on out for a fun night and a great cause!
