Kent State University at Stark Theatre is proud to present a special collaborative event, The Crucible, an opera adaptation of the play by Arthur Miller, with libretto by Bernard Stambler and music by Robert Ward. The performances feature the talents of Kent State University faculty and students, as well as guest artists.
An unfaithful husbandβs life turns tragic in this operatic version of an American classic that examines justice, honor and courage. He finds himself fighting against a monstrous political and religious βwitch huntβ and is forced to face his past and reconcile his actions before the power of the court. For mature audiences only due to mature content.
Ticket prices are $14 for adults and $10 for non-Kent State students, children under 17 and senior citizens. All Kent State students are admitted free of charge with current student ID.
