Vandals Destroy Audi; Felony Rock Throw; and Cocaine Arrest: Crime Blotter

Audi on life support

On July 11 at about 5 a.m., an unknown number of suspects vandalized an Audi parked in the 1800 block of Beechwood Avenue NW.

According to a North CantonΒ police report, the vandals keyed each exterior panel of car, carved a smiley face in the hood, sliced the leather seats and smashed in the radio and speedometer.

Total damage: $5,000.Β 

Felony vandalism

Joshua R.Β Kamp, 25, of Hartville, allegedly hurled a rock through a Subway storefront window, located at 1444 North Main St., on July 9.Β 

Kamp was charged with vandalism, a fifth-degree felony, for reportedly causing $1,000 in damage, and was charged with obstructing official business for allegedly lying to police about information relating to the incident.Β 

Cocaine arrest

Tonya S. Berry, 41, of Bolivar, was pulled over on July 6 in the 100 block of Everhard Road due to a missing rearview mirror, and allowed police to search her car, according to a North Canton police report.Β 

Officers allegedly found cocaine and Berry was arrested andΒ charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. .Β
