Voter Registration Deadline Nears for Stark County Residents
You must be registered to vote by Oct. 11 to vote in the Nov. 8 general election

Have a candidate or issue you want to support? TuesdayΒ is the deadline for registering to vote in the Nov. 8 general election in Stark County.
To vote in Stark County, you must be 18 before Nov. 8, 2011, a United States citizen,Β a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days before the election and registered to vote at least 30 days before the election.

To do so, hereβs what you need:
- Adobe reader installed on your computer
- Your Ohio Driverβs License number, or the last four digits of your social security number
- A computer printer β so you can print out and sign the form
The application must be signed, post marked 30 days before the election and mailed to the BOE atΒ 201 3rdΒ St. NE FL 1,Β Canton, OH 44702.

You can also register in person, at the BOE, or at the following locations:
- Any county board of elections or the Secretary of Stateβs office
- Public libraries, including the
- Offices of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
- Any public high school or vocational school
- Offices of designated agencies including:
- The Department of Job and Family Services
- The Department of Health (including the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program)
- The Department of Mental Health
- The Department of Developmental Disabilities
- The Rehabilitation Services Commission; or
- Any state-assisted college or university that provides assistance to disabled students
Persons registering by mail must provide identification information when attempting to vote for the first time. Provide your current Ohio driverβs license number or the last four digits of your social security number on the registration form. Other acceptable identification information: a copy of a current and valid photo identification; or a copy of a utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document showing name and address.
