Water Department Flushing Hydrants Thursday
Preventative maintenance measure to take place in southwest, southeast sections of North Canton.
The North Canton Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants in the southwest and southeast sections of the city between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday.
Hydrants are flushed periodically as preventative maintenance to ensure the integrity of the city’s water system and verify the proper operation of fire hydrants and valves.
City Administrator Mike Grimes suggests residents check their water for discoloration before doing laundry. If there's discoloration, and it lasts for several hours, call 330-499-1528.
