Woman passed out behind the wheel

Police found a 40-year-old Canton woman passed out behind the wheel of her car, which happened to be stopped in the middle of the street at 14th Street and Pierce Avenue NW, about 4:20 p.m. Feb. 28. The woman was cited for operation at stop signs, a minor misdemeanor, and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Vicodin stolen Sheraton Drive home

A woman in the 400 block of Sheraton Drive NW told police someone stole $350 worth of prescription Vicodin from her home between 11 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday.

Passenger found with digital scale, drug pipes

When police stopped a car in the 1400 block of Main Street Sunday afternoon, they found the passenger was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The 18-year-old Canton woman had two multi-colored glass pipes, a digital scale and a baggie filled with what appeared to be marijuana. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor. 

Man found with drug pipe after traffic stop

A 27-year-old man was found with a marijuana pipe when he was pulled over by police in the 1600 block of South Main Street about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. In the police report, the officer said he could smell marijuana coming from the man's car. The man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.

Car vandalized on Wise Avenue

Someone broke a car's window in the 400 block of Wise Avenue NE between 7 a.m. and 2:13 p.m. Feb. 23, causing about $200 in damages.

IPod stolen from student at Hoover High

A $300 iPod belonging to a 14-year-old boy was stolen Monday from a locker at , 525 7th St. NE.
