Ohio's 48th House District Race is Finalized
November's race among Kirk Schuring, John Deagan and Amanda Trump is set

No independent candidates have filed to run for Ohio's 48th district seat in the House.
That means November's race will be between incumbent Kirk Schuring (R-Jackson Township), John M. Deagan (a libertarian from Canton) and Amanda Trump (D-Canton).

Each ran unopposed in the primary.
The 48th district represents North Canton, Jackson Township and Navarre. It also covers portions of Perry, Bethlehem and Canton townships.

State representatives serve two-year terms. This term begins Jan. 1, 2013.
