Yoga

The Ananda Center for the Arts has scheduled yoga classes with Bob Goerke on Tuesday evenings.

Goerke will offer standard Yoga classes on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Students will learn postures (Asanas) that increase flexibility and strengthen muscles. Modifications enable beginners to practice yoga safely. Each participant will be encouraged to work at his own pace. Correct breathing techniques and relaxation skills will be emphasized.

The fee, $10 per class ($8 for Ananda Center members), is the same for each of the offerings. It may be paid by cash or check just before each session. Students should arrive at The Ananda Center for the Arts about 15 minutes before each class to sign in.
