📰 News we're reading

• Oregon data center debate moves to ballot this November (wtol.com) — Oregon voters will decide this November whether to cap future data centers at 25 megawatts, a move that could reshape a massive proposed project near Corduroy and Wynn roads. After residents gathered over 2,000 petition signatures, City Council voted to send the charter amendment to the ballot, framing it as a community choice balancing jobs, revenue, and neighborhood concerns.

• Multiple Flock cameras vandalized in Oregon and Toledo (13abc.com) — Two police Flock cameras in Oregon were cut down and spray painted along Starr Avenue, part of five vandalized devices in the area over the weekend. Oregon Police say suspects could face felony vandalism charges and are working with Flock to recover any usable data, urging residents to report suspicious activity around the cameras.
