• Kirby Day (scriptype.com) — Richfield families can celebrate local inventor Jim Kirby at Kirby Day on Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Richfield Heritage Preserve, with fishing lessons, kids' activities, games, and STEM challenges. Food will be available for a donation, and organizers will highlight ongoing efforts to restore historic park structures and support future programming.
   

• John Brown: The Dulcimer Diaries (scriptype.com) — Richfield residents can catch a live musical about abolitionist John Brown when the Richfield Historical Society presents "The Dulcimer Diaries" on Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. in the Revere High School auditorium. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students, with the first 250 Revere student tickets free thanks to a local grant.
