$10,000 Grant To Fund Entrepreneurship At Shaker Heights High
The Veale Forum awarded the grant to implement entrepreneurship programs at the high school this school year.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Shaker Schools Foundation is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Veale Foundation, the school district announced recently. The grant will be used to implement entrepreneurship programs in Shaker Heights High School during the 2017-2018 school year.
The Veale Youth Entrepreneurship Forum is a network of high schools that are looking to implement real-world-based entrepreneurship education and programs for students. The network currently consists of 22 high schools in Northeast Ohio.
“It is a great honor to be chosen as a recipient for this grant,” said Holly Coughlin, executive director of the Shaker Schools Foundation. “This will provide our students the opportunity to learn real-world skills while nurturing their entrepreneurial spirit.”
